ALYOF - March Goal

Ack! It's the last day of the first week of March! I have a mere 12 hours remaining to link-up with A Lovely Year of Finishes' March Goal Setting Party. I've been dithering... I want to chose a goal that challenges me, but not one that is so onerous that I fail to complete it. January and February's goals were both relativity small. Okay. I'm screwing up my courage and going for it.
I'm going to turn these in a finished quilt. You can read about some of these blocks here, here, & here. With last month's goal being to finish the last three, it seems only natural to keep on rolling. But I'm scared, people. It's been all well and good to FMQ these blocks as I made them, but now I have to wo-man up and put them together.

I'm scared. Check that off the list for today. Goal declared. Let's see what happens by month's end! I'm linking up with the March Goal Setting Party....

  2. You can do it!!! I JUST snuck my ALYOF link-up in, too. I (quasi) cheated and linked up the post I posted on the 4th. I had all intentions of taking some newer progress photos and writing an additional link-up post today, but lo... family and life got in the way. BUT at least I linked up! I'm with you, though. My goal for this month scares me. It's basically to piece, quilt, bind and finish an entire (albiet child-sized) quilt for a fundraiser for my daughter's preschool (I think you've read about it :))... but yea, we can do it! Time to wo(man) up!

  3. You can do it!! Once you get started (hardest part), it's not really that bad! I could not seem to wrap my head around the instructions but once I just cut the strips and followed the directions (ok, that might have been the hardest part for me lol) it went smoothly. Jump in, you've got this one! :)

  4. You've done such a great job on "For The Love of Sewing" already, I have no doubt you'll get it together. Can't wait to see yours done :) Mine is still hanging on my 'Fun Room' wall. Not my greatest achievement, I went the scrappy route, and my FMQ bites so it's loud and messy, but it's done ;)

I've been working on my March AYOLF, so far so good :)
